Did you see?

On April 12, 2008, Bowling Green State University held it's 3rd Annual Grand Prix of BGSU. These peppy little go-carts are powered by 5.5 hp Honda Engines that run on E85. The carts are constructed and raced by the students. The race, which was 12 miles long, consisted of 60 laps around a 1/5 mile track located in one of the parking lots of BGSU. The go-carts topped out at speeds close to 40 mph and the fastest qualifying lap time was a mere 22.15 seconds. Not too shabby for having fun and raising awareness about alternative and cleaner energy!
